Welcome!  

I’m a travel and landscape photographer who enjoys time spent outside, from little local parks to traveling to breathtaking US National Parks.  I currently live in Boulder, CO with my wife and two little ones, and I have lived for years in San Diego, CA and rural Pennsylvania.

My photography interests are varied and evolving, and I always enjoy fresh and and quiet moments, whether in a dense forest, mountain overlook, or along the coast somewhere.

Gear Used

I probably have too much gear. I used to have a dedicated section that had in-depth descriptions and reviews of everything I used, but 1) gear doesn’t (really) matter that much, and 2) I’m constantly changing my mind on what I want to keep and use, so it changes often. Anyway, I currently have 3 setups that I alternate depending on what I want to do and the conditions and requirements of the outing.

My main kit is the Canon 5DSR setup I’ve used for years, and I will frequently use the GFX when I don’t need the broader focal lengths and I want perfect images. The XF kit is a new addition for when the hikes are long and demanding, space and weight is at a premium, or I’m dealing with aches & pains..

Setups Currently in Rotation:
