Erosion

This image was from a morning walk along the San Diego coast. This local beach has many sections where the sand has washed away, revealing the smooth, eroded stones beneath. This beach was a frequent location I visited, as the sand often contained dark streaks of color that created interesting patterns as the tides retreated. However, this morning I was particularly drawn to the collection of smooth stones, all with varying faded colors, resting against one another in the early morning light.
