This photograph was from a very foggy, drizzly morning at a local trail in Boulder, Colorado. I had originally planned to photograph parting storms and fog drifting through the Flatirons, however the clouds ended up much more dense than I had anticipated, so I hiked further into the dense mountain forests. This tree caught my attention - standing alone while the rest of the dense forest behind it faded into the mist. This print will work well as shot as a panorama, or in any number of additional aspect ratios. As depicted, this image is in a panorama aspect ratio print (recommended: 10×20’’, 14×32”, 17×38” sizes).
